The nominees for the 2026 Guldbagge Awards

The Guldbagge nominations for the 2025 film year were announced today at a press conference at Filmhuset in Stockholm. Sweden’s Oscar submission, Eagles of the Republic by Tarik Saleh, leads the way with a total of 11 nominations. Andreas Öhman’s 7 Steps and Jon Blåhed’s Raptures follows with eight nominations each, while Kevlar Soul by Maria Eriksson-Hecht received seven.

The 2026 Guldbagge Awards are organized by the Swedish Film Institute in collaboration with Swedish Television (SVT) and will take place at Cirkus in Stockholm on Monday, January 19, 2026.

A nomination committee consisting of 46 members across five groups has, through jury deliberation, arrived at the following nominations for the 2026 Guldbagge Awards for films released in 2025.

Nominations are listed below in alphabetical order based on the title of the film.
